Charlie Sheen is often hailed as one of the biggest television actors in the world.

Yet, his life has not been without controversy and many of his controversial and problematic acts have been well-documented and mentioned over the years.

Even though he has long moved on and is doing much better today, fans continue to revisit his old deeds and ‘beef’ with fellow industry members.

While his feud with Two and a Half Men creator, Chuck Lorre, is most revisited, Sheen also had a very public feud with Ashton Kutcher following the latter taking up as the lead in the hit sitcom.

However, as time has a way of healing wounds and building ‘rationality,’ the two stars eventually made up after Sheen apologized.

Charlie Sheen‘s tumultuous exit from Two and a Half Men is infamous for all the ‘word wars’ and accusations.

His highly publicized exit following his problematic behavior and drug addiction was a time filled with controversial acts and statements on the part of the actor.

While his rivalry with Chuck Lorre is infamously recalled today every now and then, Sheen also locked horns with Ashton Kutcher who replaced him in the sitcom as the new lead, Walden Schmidt.

Following his exit and the casting of Kutcher, the infamous actor took to social media to call him out back in 2014.

In a series of posts on X, formerly Twitter, Sheen insulted the actor, calling him ‘lame’ and asking him to quit barfing on my old, brilliant show (via Variety).

However, their feud did not end there and continued as Kutcher called Sheen out during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Sheen responded back in a series of equally rude tweets (via Glamour).

After years of ongoing rumored beef between Charlie Sheen and Ashton Kutcher, the former apparently had some clarity and surprisingly publically acknowledged his rude behavior towards the latter in 2017.

His reaction to his past problematic behavior was a follow-up to when he started seeing things ‘rationally’ and followed on to apologize for a number of things he said and did in the past.

In an interview on Kyle & Jackie O show (via ET Online), the actor reportedly stated the following about his past rude remarks towards Kutcher,

I was stupidly mean to him because I overlooked the reality and difficulty of taking over a show.

Which I did, I took over Spin City when Michael J.

Fox was too sick to work, but no one ever put those two together.

… So, I should have been nicer.

He was tasked with such an uphill struggle and I was more into my own ego than I was aware of his own battle.

And for that I am regretful.

The actor also commented on when he and Kutcher shook hands at a Los Angeles Dodgers game (via Daily Mail), revealing that he had forced the young man into a handshake and wanted to give him a hug as he felt bad about his past behavior.

Two and a Half Men is available to be streamed on Peacock Premium.
