Getting hot in the kitchen! Gordon Ramsay revealed as guest judge on MasterChef Australia – amid a major shake-up for the cooking competition
Channel Ten has brought out the biggest name in culinary television for its newly revamped MasterChef Australia.
And celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay will not disappoint viewers, notorious for his quick wit, eye for detail and foul-mouthed tirades.
The 53-year-old has been revealed to have secretly filmed four episodes for the cooking competition show, according to Sunday Herald Sun.

Experienced: It was revealed on Saturday that celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay (pictured) will be a multi-episode guest judge on MasterChef Australia.
Aiding in the network’s coup, the Hell’s Kitchen star had also been in Australia to promote his Quick and Delicious recipe book.
Gordon previously appeared on Masterchef Australia in 2018 as a guest judge, as well as working on the US version as a main judge from season two.
In October, Network Ten’s chief content officer Beverley McGarvey also slated Heston Blumenthal and Curtis Stone as guest judges for MasterChef Australia: Back To Win.

Channel Ten previously confirmed the new, more diverse lineup of judges – Andy Allen, Melissa Leong and Jock Zonfrillo, who replaced Matt Preston, Gary Mehigan and George Calombaris, who quit last year.
George Calombaris, Matt Preston and Gary Mehigan chose to walk away from the program last year after Channel Ten refused to give them a significant pay rise.
Gordon had been rumoured as a possible permanent replacement judge, but it appears his role will be limited to guest appearances.

Dropping by: Gordon had been rumoured as a possible permanent replacement judge, but it appears his role will be limited to guest appearances.
In a statement Ten’s CEO Paul Anderson claimed the decision to axe the three judges came after months of failed negotiations.
Mr Anderson said: ‘Despite months of negotiations, Ten has not been able to reach a commercial agreement that was satisfactory to Matt, Gary and George.
‘We would like to thank Gary, George and Matt for their contribution over the past 11 years.’
