$11,500 For Exclusive Gifts and Photo With John Cena: Cena’s Final WWE Match’s Ticket Prices Are as High as WrestleMania
WWE is asking fans to pay as high as $11,500 to watch John Cena wrestle for one final time before he retires which has left fans livid.

WWE Superstar John Cena will be retiring from pro wrestling in another five appearances.
The promotion recently announced Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13, 2025, would be the final match of his career.
However, the ticket prices that accompany it are almost as huge as those of WrestleMania.
A user on X posted the prices of the elite packages provided by WWE for John Cena’s final match at SNME, with the top tier priced at $11,500.
Called the WWE Champion package, the ticket includes Floor seating, Photo Op with Cena, Cena exclusive gift, Ringside Photo Op, & Premium Reserved seating at The Undertaker’s Live show the night before SNME.
Two more tiers are present in this category.
The $9500 ticket will fetch fans all these benefits and get them a seat in the second row at the rampside.
Same benefits for a $6500 ticket for a seat in the fifth row.
WWE & On-Location have released the package prices for John Cena’s Final Match (Saturday Night’s Main Event) in Washington, D.C., on December 13, 2025, and they are listed below.

In comparison, if one is to head to buy the tickets for WrestleMania 42 right now, the packages cost $1600, $2950, $5150, and $6995.
Thus, the highest tier for WM42 is the bottom category of the top tier for Cena’s retirement match.
This has drawn sharp reactions from several fans who are baffled at these prices.
Several members of the WWE Universe even doubted whether they would be able to afford nosebleed seats.
Another fan added that AEW did a good job with Sting’s retirement, where he paid $775 for two front-row ringside seats.
This comes when TKO Group Holdings and WWE are already being criticized for how heavily they’re pricing the tickets for the weekly shows of RAW and SmackDown.
The company has also made things difficult for fans who stream WWE shows, as they need to be subscribed to different platforms and pay hefty fees just to get access to all of its content.
When TKO Executive Mark Shapiro Made Vince McMahon Look Good

The recent Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference saw TKO executive Mark Shapiro talk about WWE’s pricing strategy for live events.
He noted that they could maximise the money they’re getting from ticket sales even more and that he aims to push the prices higher.
He stated that the UFC (also owned by TKO) is doing it already and bringing in huge profits.
WWE is not where the UFC is yet on ticket yields.
We have our work to do there.
We’ve seen a meaningful increase, as evidenced by the 59% margin we did in the second quarter.
Ticket sales and site fees play a big part in driving that.
We know we have more room to go.
Why do we know that? UFC is breaking records everywhere they go.
We know we have a lot of room there because Vince McMahon was primarily pricing tickets for families and wasn’t totally focused on maxing the opportunity there.
We see what we can do with the UFC, and we’re replicating that in terms of ticket yield and advance sales when it comes to OnLocation on the WWE side.
It’s really working out well.
This statement almost immediately made Vince McMahon, WWE’s ex-chairman, look good, because he valued the money of the fans.
Moreover, he wanted to keep his shows accessible to all classes of families and not just the ones with deep pockets.
This is a sacred unwritten rule followed by all wrestling promotions since they want wrestling to be enjoyed by families, as they’re the core fanbase of the industry.
This concept, however, is lost on the TKO Group Holdings, which is treating WWE like a money-minting machine at the cost of its loyal fans.

While John Cena’s final opponent is yet to be determined, his next opponent is AJ Styles.
The storied rivals will face each other on October 11, 2025, in Perth, Australia.
Nobody expected the match to happen since The Franchise Player had mentioned so in his post-show interview after Clash in Paris.
Despite this, Cena still made a tweet on X asking his fans if they would like to see him wrestle AJ Styles.
The WWE Universe and The Phenomenal One responded with an overwhelming number of positive responses that made Triple H book the match.
In a recent interview with the Japanese media outlet ABEMA, when asked about his upcoming match with John Cena, AJ expressed his excitement.
However, he also added that he didn’t think it was possible, but now that it is happening, he accepts it completely.
I am certainly happy for the opportunity to wrestle John Cena on his retirement tour.
I did not think this was going to happen, it honestly just came out of nowhere, but I accept it, I want it, and me and John are going to have one last match, and it’s going to be incredible.
