Travis Scott and Daughter Stormi Dazzle at Tokyo Concert

During a recent concert in Tokyo, Travis Scott and his daughter Stormi captured the audience’s attention, especially following a surprise appearance by Kanye West.

The 34-year-old rapper, who shares Stormi, aged seven, and son Aire, aged three, with ex-partner Kylie Jenner, performed at the Belluna Dome in Tokorozawa, a venue that can accommodate over 31,000 fans.

A Memorable Performance

In a fan video shared on social media, Travis Scott brought Stormi on stage while performing his song “Thank God” from his 2023 album Utopia, which features her vocals.

As Scott sang, he included the lyrics, “Storm’s a minor, but you know she’s livin’ major,” to which Stormi adorably responded, “That’s right, daddy.”

This sweet exchange showcased Stormi’s confidence as she participated in the performance.

Audience Engagement

The duo engaged the crowd further by jumping up and down on a raised platform, prompting the audience to join in the excitement.

Scott enthusiastically encouraged the crowd, shouting, “Everybody make some noise for Stormi!” which elicited loud cheers from the fans.

Kanye West’s Surprise Appearance

In addition to the heartwarming moment with his daughter, Travis Scott surprised the audience by bringing out Kanye West.

Initially, West appeared on stage wearing a mask, which he soon removed to reveal his face, causing the audience to erupt in cheers and applause.

The two rappers performed several of West’s classic hits, including “Through The Wire,” “Can’t Tell Me Nothing,” “Heartless,” and “All of the Lights,” creating a nostalgic atmosphere for the fans.

A Strong Bond

Travis Scott has previously expressed his deep admiration for Kanye West, referring to him as a mentor and an important figure in his life.

In an interview earlier this year, Scott shared how West took him under his wing when he was just starting his career at the age of 19.

He credited West with teaching him about music creation and collaboration, which has played a significant role in his growth as an artist.

Addressing Past Tensions

Despite some past tensions, including allegations that Scott had removed West from his album Utopia, their recent collaboration on stage indicated that there are no hard feelings between them.

Scott has produced tracks for West in the past, including songs from West’s 2013 album Yeezus.

The two have a long history of collaboration, having performed together at various events, including Scott’s Circus Maximus concert in Rome in 2023.

Acknowledging Influence

During the concert, Scott made a heartfelt statement to the audience, emphasizing West’s influence on his career.

He said, “There is no Utopia without Kanye West. There is no Travis Scott without Kanye West.”

This acknowledgment highlighted the impact West has had on Scott’s music and artistic journey.
