Jeremy Renner Responds to Yi Zhou’s Allegations
Jeremy Renner has firmly denied the serious allegations made by Chinese filmmaker Yi Zhou and is considering legal action against her.
Zhou, who is 37 years old, previously worked with the 54-year-old Marvel actor on both a documentary and an animated film.
In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Zhou accused Renner of sending her intimate photos and pornographic videos in an effort to win her over.
She claimed that after their relationship soured, Renner became aggressive, even threatening to contact immigration authorities.

Zhou described feeling unsafe during her interactions with Renner.
She recounted an incident where she felt compelled to lock herself in a room, fearing for her safety due to Renner’s alleged drunken rants.

In response to Zhou’s claims, Renner’s attorney, Marty Singer, issued a cease-and-desist letter, which was reported by TMZ.

According to Renner’s side, their initial meeting in July became uncomfortable when Zhou allegedly made a pass at him.
Renner asserts that there was a brief consensual encounter but made it clear afterward that he was not interested in pursuing a s*xual relationship.

During a meeting about their film at Renner’s home, Zhou claims he became drunk and angry, leading her to lock herself in the bathroom for hours.
She shared texts with colleagues from that day, expressing her fear and concern for her safety.
In these messages, Zhou described Renner as “violent” and indicated that she had to share her location with others in case something happened to her.
Evidence of Communication
Zhou provided screenshots of alleged texts exchanged between her and Renner, in which she confronted him about his behavior.
In one exchange, she called him a pig for sending explicit images.
Renner’s response included a threat to notify immigration authorities, which Zhou found deeply shocking and frightening.
She has maintained that no woman or creative should endure such emotional and psychological pressure in the workplace.
The Nature of Their Relationship
Zhou previously stated that she began dating Renner in the months leading up to their fallout.
She claimed that he initially contacted her directly, sharing personal photographs and expressing interest in a serious relationship.
