Madonna’s post celebrated her return from a recent trip to Japan to kick off 2025.

Before the New Year, Madge celebrated Christmas and Hannukah with her four children — Lourdes Leon, 28, Chifundo “Mercy” James, 18, and 12-year-old twins Stella and Estere — and her boyfriend Akeem Morris, 28.

A former college soccer player, Morris met Madonna in August 2022. However, they didn’t confirm the relationship as being romantic until almost two years later.

Last July, Madonna and Morris went Instagram official with an Independence Day post on the Queen of Pop’s Instagram.

“Happy 4th of July! A year ago today, I had just come home from the hospital after surviving a life threatening illness, I could barely stand in my backyard holding one sparkler,” she wrote in the caption, referencing her 2023 health emergency. “I made a miraculous recovery and had an amazing year. Thank you God. Life is beautiful!”

The following month, Morris joined the “Evita” star in Italy to celebrate her 66th birthday.

The couple reportedly split briefly in October 2024 but reconciled just a couple weeks later.
