Elon Musk’s recent town hall in Green Bay, Wisconsin, was meant to be a powerful display of influence ahead of the crucial Supreme Court election on April 1.
Instead, it turned into an absolute disaster.
Thousands of protesters gathered outside the venue, making their opposition to Musk’s political involvement clear.
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO, who showed up wearing a signature Wisconsin cheesehead, was met with overwhelming criticism.
During the town hall, Musk was confronted with an unexpected question from the crowd:
“When are we getting our Doge checks?”
This bizarre inquiry referred to Musk’s past claims about Dogecoin, a cryptocurrency he has often promoted.
His response?
A nervous and unclear explanation about the need for scalability, leaving many in the audience unimpressed.
As the event progressed, Musk faced hecklers who challenged his political motivations and ties to conservative figures.
Rather than addressing concerns, Musk deflected by suggesting that billionaire George Soros had planted operatives in the audience.
Chants of “USA! USA!” erupted, creating an almost surreal atmosphere.
Musk also took a moment to attack the Federal Reserve, claiming that the organization employs too many people.
At one point, he even started chanting, “End the Fed,” aligning himself with a growing movement against centralized financial institutions.
Musk’s primary goal for the event was to support Brad Schimel, a right-wing Supreme Court candidate in Wisconsin.
According to Musk, this election would determine “the entire destiny of humanity.”
His dramatic statements left many questioning whether he truly believed in such an extreme claim or was simply trying to create urgency
among voters.
During his speech, Musk took shots at the political left, accusing them of hypocrisy and violence.
Ironically, Musk recently stated in an interview that empathy is the greatest threat to civilization and should be eradicated.
Now, he claims that his critics lack empathy.
In yet another unexpected turn, Musk warned about declining birth rates, calling it a major threat to humanity’s survival.
He urged people to have more children, claiming that parenthood brings happiness and is crucial for the future of civilization.
Musk also discussed his plans to “reform” the federal government by cutting funding and eliminating entire departments.
He described his efforts as “washing dishes” – a mundane yet necessary task.
Critics argue that his agenda would severely damage essential programs like Social Security and Medicaid.
Musk claimed that he considers himself a centrist but blames the left for moving so far that he now appears conservative.
He also expressed confusion about why people compare him to Nazis, failing to acknowledge the controversial statements he has made in
recent years.
In a shocking claim, Musk stated that his team had discovered 20 million deceased individuals still listed as alive in the Social Security
database.
While no evidence was provided, the statement fueled concerns over voter fraud and government inefficiency.
Musk also called for changes in the judiciary, arguing that federal judges have too much power.
He suggested that any judge should be able to override presidential actions, calling the current system “insane.”
Musk expressed nostalgia for the early days of the United States, when the federal government consisted of only a few key departments.
He suggested that America should return to a stripped-down system with only a Secretary of State, Secretary of War, and Secretary of Treasury.
Despite criticizing government programs, Musk reassured investors that Tesla’s stock was a great long-term investment.
He even hinted that now might be a good time to buy, despite ongoing protests against his leadership.
Beyond the Green Bay event, Tesla protests erupted in nearly 300 locations across the country.
One of the most notable demonstrations took place in Boston, Massachusetts.
Elon Musk’s Wisconsin town hall was meant to boost Brad Schimel’s candidacy and consolidate Musk’s political influence.
Instead, it highlighted his controversial positions, drew widespread criticism, and fueled nationwide protests.
With the April 1 election approaching, voters will decide whether Musk’s endorsement helps or hurts Schimel’s chances.
The race will also determine whether Musk’s vision for America gains traction or faces significant resistance.
One thing is clear: Musk’s political experiment is far from over.
