Now, Godfrey, a former aerospace engineer with a passion for aviation investigation, says he has uncovered compelling evidence that may finally solve the case.
Godfrey’s breakthrough came from analyzing faint, previously overlooked radio signals emitted in the hours after the aircraft vanished.
“Everyone assumed the signals were too weak to be meaningful, or simply background noise,” Godfrey explained in an exclusive interview.
“But when I cross-referenced the timings and patterns with ocean drift models and historical weather data, a remarkably consistent location emerged—one that had eluded search teams for years.”
Using advanced computer simulations and painstakingly reconstructed flight paths, Godfrey calculated the likely trajectory of the plane following its last known communication with air traffic control over the South China Sea.
His model factored in wind speed, ocean currents, and the gradual degradation of debris over time.
“This isn’t guesswork,” he emphasized.
“Every calculation is based on physics, meteorology, and verified satellite data.
The result points to a specific area in the southern Indian Ocean, hundreds of miles off Australia’s western coast, which aligns with some of the debris findings, though previous searches never covered this precise zone.

Godfrey’s method also incorporated drift patterns of confirmed MH370 debris recovered on beaches in Mozambique, Reunion Island, and Madagascar over the years.
By backtracking these flotsam locations, he identified converging currents that suggest the plane’s remains likely sank in a previously unsearched region.

“It also challenges some earlier theories that involved catastrophic failures immediately after takeoff.”
Families of passengers expressed a mixture of hope and skepticism.
“We want answers,” said Li Wei, whose sister was on MH370.
“If Mr.Godfrey’s calculations are correct, at least we know where to focus.
But after so many years of speculation, it’s hard to get our hopes up fully.”
Aviation authorities have not formally endorsed Godfrey’s findings but acknowledged that “innovative approaches from private experts can contribute to ongoing understanding of MH370’s disappearance.
