Cowboys, Disco Balls, and Pizza: Inside Paige Drummond’s Wildly Emotional Wedding Afterparty!

Paige Drummond and David Anderson’s wedding on May 17th was nothing short of spectacular.

Set against the serene backdrop of the Drummond family ranch in Oklahoma, the ceremony and afterparty were a testament to the couple’s love story and unique personalities.

It wasn’t just a wedding; it was an event that combined heartfelt traditions with an explosion of fun, leaving guests with memories that will last a lifetime.

The day began with Paige’s vision of an emotional and intimate ceremony on her family’s land.

She had grown up surrounded by the wide-open prairie, and it was only fitting that she exchanged vows in the place that held so much personal significance.

With her mother, Ree Drummond, by her side, Paige meticulously planned a celebration that was both deeply personal and wildly entertaining.

Paige and David said their “I dos” in front of a large wooden cross adorned with cascading blooms, with the breathtaking Oklahoma prairie stretching out behind them.

The ceremony was uniquely Paige, down to her decision to forgo a first look.

She wanted the walk down the aisle to be as raw and emotional as possible—a moment she would never forget.

And it was.

As Paige explained, “I wanted it to be really special and emotional.”

Her wedding gown was another nod to sentimentality and style.

Paige wore a strapless Lela Rose dress with a drop-waist silhouette, a subtle homage to her mother Ree’s own wedding dress from 1996.

The dress was elegant yet modern, perfectly complementing the prairie setting.

She accessorized with diamond drop earrings and a sapphire ring that had once belonged to her grandmother, Nan.

The ring also served as her “something blue,” adding another layer of meaning to her ensemble.

After the heartfelt ceremony, the celebration moved to a custom-built glass greenhouse on the ranch, which served as the reception venue.

Described as magical, the greenhouse was illuminated with glowing lights and filled with love and laughter.

Guests enjoyed heartfelt speeches, delicious food, and a jaw-dropping nine-tier white cake with raspberry filling.

David, not to be outdone, had his own groom’s cake shaped like a pickup truck, adding a playful touch to the evening.

The newlyweds shared their first dance to Chris Stapleton’s “Joy of My Life” on a monogrammed ballroom floor, a moment filled with romance and joy.

Paige also shared a special dance with her father, Ladd Drummond, to Garth Brooks’ “That Girl Is a Cowboy,” a fitting tribute to their family’s cowboy roots.

But the night didn’t end there.

Just when guests thought the festivities were winding down, the party moved to P-Town Pizza in Pawhuska for an unforgettable afterparty.

And this wasn’t just any afterparty—it was a full-blown cowboy disco rodeo.

Outside the restaurant, a giant cowboy boot-shaped sign greeted guests with the message, “Paige and David are married. Let’s party.”

A disco ball wearing a cowboy hat hung above, setting the tone for what was to come.

Inside, the venue was transformed into a whimsical wonderland.

Mirror-covered cacti, hot pink tumbleweeds, and metallic streamers decorated the space, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere.

DJ UGO kept the energy high with upbeat tracks, while a giant backdrop featuring a cowboy lassoing the name “The Andersons” added a personal touch.

Paige swapped her wedding gown for a short white mini dress and a pair of off-white cowboy boots embroidered with purple and blue flowers, making her ready to hit the dance floor.
