It’s been four years since Alex Drummond and Mauricio Scott said “I do” in a beautiful ceremony at the Drummond family ranch. This year, their anniversary feels extra special—it’s their first as parents to their sweet daughter, Sophia.
To mark the occasion, Alex took to Instagram, sharing throwback photos from their wedding day that brought warm memories rushing back. In her heartfelt caption, she wrote, “There’s so much I could say about this year. It’s been a big one with lots of change, but I feel more confident than ever that I have the best person by my side. Let’s keep growing old together.”
Becoming parents has brought big changes to their relationship. Alex was open about it in a recent Instagram Q&A. When asked how parenthood has impacted her marriage, she didn’t sugarcoat it. “There’s no denying that it’s a massive change, so much more to balance, and it’s way harder to make time for each other,” she shared.

“Still, at the heart of it, nothing has changed. It’s still the same marriage at the core,” Alex said. “He’s still the same guy I married four years ago. We still laugh through all the ups and downs and have so much fun together.”
Of course, they’ve had to work hard to find a new rhythm. Communication, teamwork, and learning how to share responsibilities have been key.
“We’ve definitely had to figure out our new normal,” Alex added, acknowledging the everyday challenges many new parents face.

Looking ahead, Alex and Mauricio are determined to make more time for themselves as a couple. “We are going to try to do a better job of prioritizing date nights,” she said. “I’m excited to see how things progress as we get better at balancing everything.”
Her honest words are a reminder that marriage, like parenthood, is a journey. There are bumps, growth, and sweet moments in between.

As Alex and Mauricio celebrate four years together, it’s clear that love, laughter, and commitment remain at the center of their story.
Happy anniversary to the happy couple, and here’s to many more years of love, parenting adventures, and holding hands through it all.
