After just a few months on the market, Rachel Maddow has successfully offloaded her chic apartment in Manhattan’s upscale West Village neighborhood.

As reported by the New York Post, the MSNBC host found a buyer for the trendy West Village co-op, after putting it on the market in late 2020.

Maddow, 47, and her partner, Susan Mikula, first listed the home for $2.35 million in October. They found a buyer the following month who brought the price down slightly to $2.34 million.

The TV personality snagged the charming, 19th-century unit, located on the fourth floor of a co-op building that dates back to 1898 and was once a paper warehouse, for $1.25 million, according to property records.

The 2,650-square-foot pad is located on the West Village’s famously cobbled Jane Street and has been extensively renovated over the course of the decade.

The apartment holds two bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms.

As per Yahoo News, Rachel Maddow’s West Village apartment boasts a powder room and an en suite in the master bedroom outfitted in Calacatta marble countertops, floors and walls.

The remainder of the enviable unit “comprises an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen space, with professional-grade appliances, a soapstone-framed wood-burning fireplace, and a surprising number of large windows for a Manhattan apartment,” AD reports. A glitzy chandelier takes up space in the dining room.

The spacious home has been updated to include newly installed hickory wood floors, custom cabinetry and modern light fittings throughout.

The light-filled and stylishly cool two-bedder has maintained the original exposed wood support beams, brick walls and high ceilings.

As Variety reports, co-op membership in Rachel Maddow’s former West Village building requires a monthly maintenance fee of more than $3,500.

Amenities — which are often scarce in the expensive area — include a laundry room, bike storage, a live-in superintendent, and a doorman-attended lobby.

Maddow, who reportedly earns upwards of $7 million a year, and Mikula are believed to have relocated to another Manhattan apartment.

The couple also owns a historic pre-Civil War era farmhouse in the Berkshires area in Western Massachusetts.
