Meghan Trainor Hits Back at Critics: ‘I’m Pretty as F*!’

Meghan Trainor is no stranger to the spotlight, but lately, she’s been at the center of a viral controversy after critics claimed she looked unrecognizable in a TikTok video.

The challenge, which featured the rapper Nicki Minaj, showcased Trainor in black-and-white athleisure wear, sporting a high ponytail while balancing on an upturned dumbbell.

However, it wasn’t her impressive balance skills that caught the attention of fans.

Instead, many took to the comments section to express their disbelief at her appearance, with remarks like “No way this is Meghan Trainor” and “I didn’t even recognize her.

” Some even went so far as to say she resembled other celebrities, such as Ariana Grande or Paris Hilton, rather than her true self.

In response to the negativity, Trainor took to TikTok over the weekend, delivering a powerful clap back.

She lip-synched to audio from Megan Thee Stallion’s hit song “Her,” confidently mouthing the words, “I don’t care if these bitches don’t like me, ‘Cuz like I’m pretty as f***.

Just the other day, I heard a hoe say, matter of fact what could a hoe say with a face like this and bitch this paid. Sh*t.”

Trainor captioned the clip, “Glam team really did that 🤍@Danyul Brown @eros @hairbyiggy #megantheestallion,” showcasing her confidence and resilience against the criticism.

Earlier this year, speculation regarding Trainor’s physical transformation led her to disclose that she had used a weight loss drug to help her slim down.

In a March 31 Instagram post, she addressed the attention her body received during her appearance at Billboard’s Women in Music Awards, expressing her frustration that so many comments focused on her appearance rather than her music and accomplishments.

“I’ve worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shout-out to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy,” the “All About That Bass” singer wrote.

“And I’m so glad I did because I feel great.”
