Ronda Rousey has never been shy about confronting critics, but in her latest interview, the former UFC and WWE star took things to a whole new level—specifically targeting the men who constantly question her legitimacy as a fighter.

During her appearance on Bertcast #700 with Bert Kreischer, Rousey called out the armchair warriors who feel bold behind keyboards, despite never stepping into a real fight. She made it clear that their opinions mean nothing to her.
“Every dude that stands pissing thinks he’s a badass… If I had a quarter for every guy that has never been in a fight that I could kill with my bare hands talking shit about my ability to fight, I would make Elon Musk blush.”
But it wasn’t just her fighting credentials she had to defend. Rousey also opened up about being accused of faking her love for nerd culture—something that’s been a consistent theme in online attacks over the years.
“People think I’m faking it a lot of the time… A lot of people pretend they’re into it to make money off it. I’m just trying to be consistent and genuine about it.”
Rousey’s comments are a reminder that even the toughest women in sports and entertainment still have to wade through a sea of keyboard warriors who question their every move. And while she clearly doesn’t need to prove herself to anyone, she’s not going to stay quiet about the double standards either.
Do you think Ronda Rousey is right to go after critics like this—or should she let her legacy speak for itself? Sound off in the comments and let us know where you stand.
