It looks like Jake Paul and his team may have found their man.

Paul has been linked with several names following the news that his original matchup with Gervonta Davis will no longer be taking place as planned.
The two stars were originally set to meet on November 14 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, live on Netflix.
Over the past few days, the hunt has been on to try and find ‘The Problem Child’ a new dance partner that he can take on later this year.
After the likes of Ryan Garcia pulling out of Paul’s potential opponent pool, it looks like one man has taken it upon himself to confirm the bout.
Nate Diaz threatens Jake Paul after claiming their rematch has been “accepted”
Jake Paul was never going to be short on opponents calling him out to try and secure a massive payday for later this year.
While he was linked to several huge names, the most surprising inclusion on the list was Francis Ngannou, though it didn’t take long for this option to be removed.
The former UFC heavyweight champion won’t be the next man to face ‘The Problem Child’, but it looks like a fellow former UFC star will.
Nate Diaz posted a short and sweet message on Instagram to seemingly confirm that he has agreed to face his former opponent for a second time.

Paul recently praised Diaz when revealing that his former foe had offered to step in and compete on the originally scheduled date of November 14.
Despite stating that this wasn’t to be, it still seems like they could be set for a rematch.
Paul defeated Diaz in their first fight back in August of 2023 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
The iconic MMA fighter has only competed once since then, beating Jorge Masvidal in a boxing clash in July 2024.
Nate Diaz always seemed like the safe option for Jake Paul
The fact that he’s beaten him once before doesn’t necessarily guarantee an easy night for Jake Paul in a rematch with Nate Diaz.
That being said, this always seemed like the safest option for the social media star’s return.

Diaz isn’t getting any younger and if Paul is going to fight on short notice, competing against someone that he beat in fairly one-sided fashion on the scorecards is a smart move.
Whether this rematch captures the attention of fans is another question, as the first fight didn’t exactly result in a classic that demanded a second chapter.
