🔥 Eminem BREAKS His Silence on Mariah Carey After YEARS 😱 “Oops… I Made Them Mad” – What He Revealed Will SHOCK You!
It all started back in the early 2000s—2001 to be precise—when Eminem casually mentioned in an interview that he had been romantically involved with Mariah Carey.
According to Em, their relationship began after Mariah’s divorce from music mogul Tommy Mottola in 1998 and lasted for about seven months.
But what could’ve been just another Hollywood fling quickly turned into one of the most explosive beefs in pop culture history.
Why? Because Mariah Carey didn’t just deny the relationship—she obliterated it.
Publicly.
Harshly.
And very, very clearly.
When asked about Eminem in a separate interview, Mariah didn’t hesitate to shut it down.
“Did you date him?” a reporter asked.
“No,” she replied with razor-sharp finality.
“I talked to him.
Maybe saw him like, four times.
Nothing happened.
” It was cold.
Too cold.
And it stung Eminem right where it hurt—his ego.
What followed was a lyrical firestorm.
Eminem retaliated with his now-iconic track “Superman” from The Eminem Show in 2002, in which he subtly accused Mariah of being clingy and delusional.
The line “What you Mariah? Fly through twice” wasn’t lost on fans—and certainly not on Mariah.
She fired back the following year with “Clown,” a thinly veiled jab at Eminem that rejected his romantic narrative: “You should’ve never intimated we were lovers when you know very well we never even touched
each other.”
By 2005, things escalated.
At a concert in New York, Eminem took the pettiness to a new level.
He altered his lyrics mid-performance to diss Mariah, stopped the music, and played what he claimed were actual voicemails from her, dripping with flirtation.
Then, to top it off, he pretended to vomit into a toilet as his song Puke began.
Savage doesn’t even begin to cover it.
Still, Mariah held her silence.
Until 2008.
That year, she married Nick Cannon, and just like that, the feud got a new player.
Nick may have been ready for marital bliss, but Eminem wasn’t done with either of them.
His 2009 track “Bagpipes from Baghdad” took aim at both Mariah and her new husband, calling Nick out with, “Nick Cannon, better back the f*** up, I’m not playing.”
Mariah had finally had enough.
That same year, she dropped Obsessed, a catchy hit that was anything but subtle.
Dressed in a hoodie and fake goatee—Em’s signature look—Mariah portrayed a delusional stalker obsessed with her.
The message was clear: she saw Eminem as the obsessed ex who couldn’t let go.
“Why are you so obsessed with me?” became a cultural catchphrase—and a direct challenge.
Eminem wasn’t about to let that slide.
On August 29, 2009, he released The Warning, a track so personal and ruthless it sent shockwaves through the industry.
He didn’t just call her out—he threatened to release voicemails and photos allegedly proving their relationship.
“I got enough dirt on you to murder you,” he rapped, before playing what he claimed were Mariah’s real voicemails.
Her management threatened legal action if he ever made them public, which—ironically—only fueled fans’ belief that Mariah might be hiding something.
Nick Cannon, trying to play knight in shining armor, jumped in.
He wrote blog posts calling Eminem immature, hinted at physical retaliation, and even released his own diss track, I’m a Slick Rick, in 2010.
But Eminem didn’t even blink.
He didn’t respond.
Fans noticed—and they roasted Nick relentlessly.
His track was deemed weak, and his attempts to “defend his wife” came off more like clout chasing than genuine protection.
The internet turned on him.
Badly.
Even years later, Nick refused to let it go.
In 2019, long after he and Mariah had split, he went on podcasts and interviews STILL talking about Eminem.
He wanted Em to come on Wild ‘N Out—Eminem never did.
Fans rolled their eyes.
Was Nick trying to revive a decade-old beef for ratings? Many believed so.
Then came 2021.
Eminem was featured on Fat Joe’s Family Ties album, and on the track “Lord Above,” he went for the jugular again.
“I know me and Mariah didn’t end on a high note,” he rapped, before mocking Nick for being “whipped” and completely under Mariah’s control.
Nick’s response? He thanked Fat Joe on Instagram for “reviving Eminem’s career,” and once again tried to get Em on Wild ‘N Out.
Desperate, much?
Nick Cannon would go on to release not one, not two, but THREE diss tracks aimed at Eminem.
And guess how many responses he got? Zero.
Eminem didn’t waste a single bar.
He didn’t need to.
Fans did the work for him, releasing their own tracks clowning Nick, memes calling him corny, and tweets dragging him for being obsessed.
Once again, the tables turned—and this time, they didn’t turn back.
Now, in 2025, the dust has mostly settled.
Mariah Carey and Eminem continue to thrive in their careers, both legends in their own right.
But for Nick Cannon? His name is more associated with multiple baby mamas and chaotic personal life than any real entertainment accomplishment.
Wild ‘N Out might still air, but the ratings wars are long over—and he lost.
So when Eminem recently quipped, “Oops… seems I’ve made them a little upset,” it wasn’t just a flex.
It was the mic drop to end all mic drops.
A reminder that when Slim Shady speaks, the world still listens—and his enemies still fume.
And in the end? Mariah had her songs.
Nick had his blogs.
But Eminem had the final word—and maybe even the voicemails to prove it.
