Sean P Diddy Combs was arrested last month and is now in jail awaiting trial. The rapper and record producer has become infamous for his ‘parties’, which allegedly are the cause of his current legal troubles and the hub of all conspiracy theories.

While the federal authorities continue to investigate his alleged crimes, several stories about his infamous parties continue to surface on the internet.

Yet, Diddy isn’t safe either when it comes to causing problems at other parties, for there was once a time that Diddy ended up beefing with Madonna at her own party.

While Sean P Diddy Combs remains in jail, battling the storm of allegations and controversies, one cannot deny the impact he had on the music industry.

The founder of Bad Boy Records, he promoted several chart-topping musical geniuses to worldwide acclaim, significantly changing the landscape of the industry for good.

On the other hand, we have Madonna, who at the height of her success was one of the biggest singers in the world.

Hailed as the Queen of Pop, the singer has been recognized for reinventing the genre through her musical brilliance, whisking away several accolades in the process.

And when these two talented figures came across each other at Madonna’s 2010 Oscar’s after-party, tragedy struck.

Apparently, as per an Insider, the two music moguls butted heads on whose contribution and legacy had been the greatest in the music industry. What started as a friendly banter, as per Today.az, quickly turned into a yelling match.

Diddy and Madonna were yelling at each other about who has a bigger impact on the music world.

Not having enough of Diddy’s claims of his musical legacy, the Material Girl hitmaker hit the floor and started a dance-off along with her dancers in the middle of the party.

Although there is no clear proof that such an event occurred, it is shocking to think that the two would debate about something as subjective as their musical legacy.

Diddy Later Sought Inspiration from Madonna to Make His Documentary

Diddy and Madonna, allegedly, might have locked horns on their musical legacy and impact on the music industry, but that did not keep the rapper from seeking inspiration from the Frozen hitmaker.

Back in 2017, Diddy released a documentary tracking the start of his Bad Boy Records, named Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop.

Released on the 20th anniversary of the record label, the documentary features how the label came about and what went behind the scenes.

While it was an inspiring documentary (before the hundreds of s*xual abuse allegations hit Diddy), the music mogul was inspired by Madonna’s 1991 documentary, Truth or Dare.

I wanted to do a movie like Madonna’s, something raw and honest, but it turned into something much bigger than that. I wanted the audience to get an inside look into what happened when the Bad Boy family reunited, the ups the downs, the joy, the real 20th anniversary. Not only the making of the concerts, but the story of how we started Bad Boy.

While we have no proof that the shouting match and dance battle between Madonna and Diddy actually took place or not, they seemed to have made their peace by the time Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop premiered.
